Timo Kiesel studied Islamic Studies, Anthropology and Indian History in Berlin. Motivated through the Orientalism debate, he directed his view on the critical discussion about Self and Other and attended a Master program in Postcolonial Studies at Goldsmith's College in London. Numerous travels through Europe, the Middle East and Asia as well as his diverse voluntary work allowed him to connect theory and experience. His aim is to open up academic debates about Postcolonialism and Critical Whiteness to a larger circle of people. |
