Carolin Philipp ... studied Political Science and Science of Education in Oldenburg, Potsdam and Berlin.  The foci during and after her studies have been globalisation, migration, power relations, race and racism. She is currently living in Berlin/Germany and Athens/Greece and works in political education projects and her PhD on political activism.

Timo Kiesel ... studied Islamic Studies, Anthropology and Indian History in Berlin. Motivated through the Orientalism debate, he directed his view on the critical discussion about Self and Other and attended a Master program in Postcolonial Studies at Goldsmith's College in London.

Numerous travels through Europe, the Middle East and Asia as well as his diverse voluntary work allowed him to connect theory and experience. His aim is to open up academic debates about Postcolonialism and Critical Whiteness to a larger circle of people.
